NASMHPD to Co-host IIMHL/IIDL 2019 Leadership Exchange Network Meeting
The first two days of the NASMHPD Meeting, September 12 and 13, are taking place in tandem with the IIMHL/IIDL Leadership Exchange Network Meeting, beginning with an evening reception on September 11. There is an additional, free of charge, registration with IIMHL/IIDL needed. Please see the following IIMHL link for additional information on how to join IIMHL/IIDL (free) and register for the leadership exchange. All Commissioners and Division Members should check the box where it asks "if you are a state director."
IIMHL is a unique international collaborative that focuses on improving mental health and addictions services. IIMHL is a collaboration of nine countries: Australia, England, Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, the USA, and Sweden. IIDL is an affiliate of IIMHL.
The theme for this year’s exchange is “Leading the Way Forward: Access, Accountability, and Action.” We have worked with IIMHL/IIDL to develop a track specifically geared towards our Annual Meeting attendees on NASMHPD State Innovations. NASMHPD members are welcome to attend the other IIMHL/IIDL tracks.
We are excited to collaborate with leaders across our country and internationally, as we dialogue and share best practices to promote wellness, recovery, and resiliency for individuals with mental health conditions or co-occurring mental health and substance related disorders across all ages and cultural groups.
We will provide additional information regarding the meeting as it is made available. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact Yaryna Onufrey at firstname.lastname@example.org Thank you.
