TA Coalition Webinar: Improving Access to Care using The National Guidelines for Crisis Care - A Best Practice Toolkit

A SAMHSA sponsored webinar developed under contract and presented by the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD) took place Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 1:30pm Eastern Time called Improving Access to Care using The National Guidelines for Crisis Care – A Best Practice Toolkit. 

 

 

Description: On February 26, 2020, SAMHSA released its National Guidelines for Mental Health Crisis Care: A Best Practices Toolkit. These guidelines are intended to assist states and communities with the development and implementation of effective crisis services and systems. The webinar, Improving Access to Care using The National Guidelines for Crisis Care – A Best Practice Toolkit, will showcase these national guidelines in crisis care within a toolkit that supports program design, development, implementation and continuous quality improvement efforts. It is intended to help mental health authorities, agency administrators, service providers, state and local leaders think through and develop the structure of crisis systems.
