Opportunities for States to Serve Individuals with Mental Illness through Money Follow the Person

The webinar presentation highlights the experiences of three states (Texas, Connecticut and Pennsylvania) implementing Money Follows the Person (MFP) Demonstration to provide community-based services to individuals with behavioral health conditions. The goal of MFP is to integrate behavioral health and long-term care services to give people with behavioral health conditions the opportunity to live independently instead of in long-term care facilities. Presenters from the three states discussed the MFP demonstrations in their states, including how evidence-based practices were incorporated and outcomes measured.
